Our individual volunteers are those persons 14 years or older and make up a large part of our volunteer network.
Flexible shifts are scheduled seven days a week from 9:00am - 9:00pm.
High school students are encouraged to contact us for school credit.
Some volunteer duties include:
- Assemble welcome bags for our new guests
- Assist staff with daily office tasks which may include phones, filing, errands, reception and data entry
- Bake dozens of cookies for both houses from our frozen, ready to bake cookie supply
- General maintenance
- Gardening
- Greeting families
- Mailings
- Clean and disinfect the play areas - many of our children are susceptible to germs and this helps them stay as healthy as possible
- Organize our bookcases, linen closets and pantries
- Assist with special events and projects
- Sweep walkways and wipe down outside furniture
